Kota Kinabalu Scuba Diving

If you come to Borneo for more than the sunny beaches or the superb landscape and you want to practice water sports, you are welcome to test your limits in one of the numerous Kota Kinabalu scuba diving challenges.

The Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park is spread across several little islands near the capital city of the Sabah County in Borneo, and offers you endless possibilities to exercise or improve your diving skills. You can choose to take a training course that is dedicated to beginner, intermediate and advanced divers alike, consisting both of theoretical preparations and of practical demonstrations.

The instructors are highly trained, and they all have PADI certificates. In fact, if you demonstrate excellent skills during the training program, you could be selected to join the club of the best scuba divers.

You can also practice open water diving, but only under careful supervision, in order to avoid any incident.

The necessary equipment can be rent from the center. You can also rent an underwater camera, if you want to capture images of the various sea creatures living in these waters. Coral reefs have a special beauty, with their amazing colors and shapes.
